Fall 2007 around the World
Long-Term Weather Forecast for the United States
U.S. West Coast (set for San Francisco, California): For more details on this long-term weather forecast, visit my blog post on the weather on the West Coast. In short, it will be wet (clouds, rain, even snow, depending on your location) and windy. This combination will be especially evident on September 26-28. October 18, 28, November 6, 10, and possibly December 1 will be windy.
U.S. East Coast (set for Washington, D.C.): Expect abundant rain and perhaps some of the white stuff this autumn with northerly winds. Jupiter is in the 4th house here, and he brings rain, since the very moist Moon in Aquarius aspects it. December 9th should bring both wind and moisture. With a Jupiter star on the Descendant, we are even more likely to get lots of rain and moisture.
U.S. Midwest (set for Chicago, Illinois): Saturn in Virgo on the Ascendant ensures a cold and dry fall this year. There might be an early flu season, or general “bugs” going around, so take your Vitamin C. Expect more moisture as the season progresses, but it will stay cold throughout the autumn.
U.S. South (set for Austin, Texas): Similar to the forecast for the Midwest, though not as dramatically cold or dry. There will likely be some rain later on in the season. We can also expect some nice gusty winds from the West, due to Mars’s rulership of the 4th house.
Long Range Global Weather Predictions:
Europe, South America, Asia, Australia
London, England: Very dry and cold this fall; similar prognosis to the U.S. Midwest, but most likely more intense, as Saturn is on the Midheaven, and also rules the 4th house. Fixed stars on the midheaven underscore the likelihood of great cold, perhaps with some easterly winds.
Prague, Czech Republic: A somewhat wet autumn this year; not dramatically so, however. Jupiter rules the 4th house, and its connection to the Moon indicates some moisture throughout the season, with fixed stars promising a cold storm or two.
Moscow, Russia: A wet autumn (possibly changing into snow later in the season), with gusty winds. Jupiter, Lord of rain, is angular and sextile the Moon. Mars in trine to Mercury rules the 4th house, giving us some wind as well. The possibility of wind is heightened by the presence of a cool, windy fixed star on the 7th house cusp.
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: A windy spring, probably with its share of humidity, rain, and thunderstorms. Mercury is in the Ascendant, producing moist winds, together with Mars. Fixed stars in this horoscope underscore the likelihood of storms.
Shanghai, China: Misty, changeable weather this autumn. The Sun in Libra on the 7th house cusp indicates typical autumnal weather (some moisture), but also promises variable, uncertain weather conditions, occassionally tending to coolness due to the fixed stars prominent in this Ingress horoscope.
Sydney, Australia: Similar prognosis to that of Rio de Janeiro, though with more moisture. Here, too, Mercury is angular, and its trine to Mars promises energetic, moist winds. The 4th house is ruled by the Moon, which indicates more rain and humidity than usual. With the fixed star Arcturus on the 7th house cusp, we might even expect storms this spring.
